Josh Cobb is a wildlife and nature photographer based in British Columbia, Canada. Originally from a small town in North Carolina, Josh developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors from an early age. Much of his childhood was spent camping and backpacking in the Appalachian Mountains, or exploring the woods on his grandfather’s property — experiences that fostered a lasting connection to the natural world.

His interest in photography began informally, using a cell phone or any camera available to capture the beauty of wildlife and landscapes, often as references for drawing. Over time, photography evolved from a creative tool into a true passion and primary form of artistic expression.

After relocating to the Lower Mainland of British Columbia to live with his partner, Josh acquired a Sony A7 IV and a 150–500mm lens, committing himself fully to the craft of wildlife photography. His work is driven by a desire to share the beauty, complexity, and quiet power of the natural world, with the hope of inspiring others to appreciate and protect it.

Josh’s photography is deeply rooted in patience, respect for wildlife, and a lifelong love of nature — values reflected in every image he creates.
